LEHI, Utah – (work wire) — Weave Corporation (NYSE: WEAV), a comprehensive client engagement and communication software platform for small businesses, today announced the appointment of Chris Bird as Chief Marketing Officer.

Baird, the company’s first-ever Marketing Director, joins Weave with over a decade of experience leading and expanding digital marketing teams, with an extensive background in B2B SaaS Marketing. As a CMO, Baird will be responsible for accelerating Weave’s marketing strategies, building brand awareness and driving demand generation in Weave’s small business markets.

Bird recently joined Weave from ObservePoint, a data management solution used by major brands like American Express, Marriott, and NBC, where he served as CMO and Vice President of Marketing for the past seven years. Prior to ObservePoint, he oversaw on demand marketing, content, and web strategy initiatives at Adobe for six years.

Baird will be the first CEO to join Weave since it recently completed its initial public offering, which added $111.6 million to its balance sheet and posted 42% year-over-year growth in third-quarter revenue.
