Automotive consumers looking to buy will soon have access to hundreds of thousands of used vehicles on GM’s new digital retail platform.

On Tuesday, GM introduced CarBravo, a website that will list all used-vehicle inventory across participating GM dealerships as well as used vehicles owned by General Motors and its financial arm GM Financial.

Company officials said that there are 400,000 second-hand vehicles in the stock of dealers on an ongoing basis. Dealers sell about 2.5 million used cars annually. GM and GM Finance have an additional 500,000 used vehicles in stock each year.

“CarBravo will give customers more choice and access to shop in the significantly expanded inventory of both dealer and national central inventory of GM used vehicles,” said Steve Carlisle, GM executive vice president and president of GM North America. It will also be offered on used non-GMO vehicles. “

General Motors will enroll 3,800 US dealers in CarBravo over the next two months, then release it to consumers this spring in a regional rollout.
