Duck Donuts has announced the hiring of several employees, including industry veteran Eric Lavinder as its first-ever development manager.

In the newly created role of Lavender, he will oversee the company’s business development strategy through franchise sales, licensing, real estate and construction teams that will be key to growing the Duck Donuts brand across the country. Joining Duck Donuts with more than 20 years of experience with express franchises, he most recently served as Director of Development at WOWorks, the holding company for brands such as Saladworks, Garbanzo Greek Mediterranean Fresh, Frutta Bowls and The Simple.

Additionally, Duck Donuts has recently hired two newly created jobs. Alyssa Martin is joined as the company’s new Creative Director and Brigid Pink, Director of Digital Marketing. Martin has spent her career in graphic design working for several food brands including Hershey Creamery, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, and Auntie Anne’s. Bink joined Duck Donuts from Honeygrow Restaurant Group and has also worked in marketing positions at Bloomin’ Brands, Iron Hill Brewery, Sodexo and Campbell Soup.

In November 2021, Duck Donuts welcomed Chad White to his team as the new Vice President of Operations. White is responsible for developing the menu, improving operations, and identifying opportunities to increase revenue while reducing costs. Join the company with over 25 years of food and beverage operations and leadership experience for brands like Chili’s, Cheddars and Tacos4Life.

Duck Donuts plans to open 40 new domestic stores and eight international stores in 2022. The company currently operates one international location and 106 US franchise locations across 22 states.
