Duck Donuts names Eric Lavinder chief development officer

Like Duck Donuts, known for serving Warm, delicious and made to order!® Donuts, plans to accelerate growth in 2022 The company today announced the appointment of several employees, including industry veteran Eric Lavender, as chief development officer.

In Lavinder’s newly created position as Chief Development Officer, he will oversee the company’s business development strategy through franchise sales, licensing, real estate and construction teams that will be key to growing the Duck Donuts brand across the country. Lavinder joins Duck Donuts with over 20 years of experience expanding casual franchises. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Development Officer at WOWorks, the holding company for brands such as Saladworks, Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh, Frutta Bowls and The Simple Greek.

Additionally, Duck Donuts has recently hired two newly created jobs. Alyssa Martin is joined as the company’s new Creative Director and Brigid Pink as Director of Digital Marketing. Martin has spent her career in graphic design working for several food brands including Hershey Creamery, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, and Auntie Anne’s. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of creative development and direction across all media and implementation processes. Bink joined Duck Donuts from Honeygrow Restaurant Group and has also worked in marketing positions at Bloomin’ Brands, Iron Hill Brewery, Sodexo and Campbell Soup. It owns the social, digital and loyalty strategy to support franchise growth, increase sales and increase brand awareness.

In November 2021, Duck Donuts welcomed Chad White to his team as the new Vice President of Operations. A veteran of the food and beverage industry, White is responsible for developing menus, improving operations and identifying opportunities to increase revenue while reducing costs.
