Delivra Inc. Email Marketing, founded in Indianapolis in 1999, was acquired by Victoria, technology company Redbrick Technologies Inc. Based in British Columbia.

Redbrick, which announced the acquisition on Wednesday, said Delivra’s workforce will continue to be located in Indianapolis and that all Delivra employees will retain their jobs.

Redbrick did not immediately respond to an IBJ inquiry late Wednesday afternoon regarding the financial terms of the deal and the number of local employees at Delivra. The company had about 30 local employees as of 2018.

“We are excited to join the Redbrick team and bring the strengths of their robust portfolio as a whole to our customers,” said Barbara Perry, CEO of Delivra, in a written statement. “With our combined experience in digital marketing, we are well positioned to provide entrepreneurs and small businesses with a full suite of tools they can use to form meaningful relationships with new and existing clients.”

This is the second time Delivra has been purchased in recent years. In the fall of 2017, it was acquired by Campaign Monitor based in Sydney, Australia, a global software-as-a-service company specializing in email marketing.

Founded in 2011, Redbrick is the parent company of a group of five operating companies: Assembly Digital Publishing; shift in productivity application; Rebase software company; Leadpages website builder without code; And now, Delivra.

Redbrick describes himself as an investor focused on launching and growing disruptive digital businesses. In some cases, Redbrick develops an idea within the company and then launches a company around that idea. In other cases, Redbrick has acquired the company, as has Delivra and its 2020 acquisition of Minnesota-based Leadpages. In 2020, following the acquisition of Leadpages, Redbrick’s total number of employees reached more than 100.

When announcing the acquisition of Delivra, Redbrick described Delivra’s email, text messaging, and marketing automation software as a strategic addition to its capabilities, and a particularly good fit with Leadpages.

“Delivra and Leadpages have a clear synergy – an entrepreneur can attract leads on a site built with Leadpages and boost their growing customer base through Delivra’s personalized email and marketing automation,” the Redbrick website said.

Delivra has a large client base in central Indiana, including IBJ. Delivra delivers IBJ Eight@8, IBJ Daily and other IBJ mass emails.
