Brightcom acquires MediaMint, a digital marketing operations company

Hyderabad: Brightcom Group Ltd, one of the leading companies in the Ad-Tech industry, has announced the signing of a definitive stake purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Vuchi Media Private Limited, operating under the brand name MediaMint.

MediaMint is a comprehensive digital consulting firm and digital operations provider specializing in advertising operations, campaign management, creative services, data analytics, platform support, and development operations.

Brightcom Group has acquired 100% of MediaMint for approximately Rs 566 crore in cash and stock. 360 crore must be paid in cash at closing; Rs 170 crore in BCG stock and; rupee. 36 crores payable in six months from closing.

MediaMint’s revenue for the year-end March 22nd is expected to be Rs 187 crore.

According to a press note following the acquisition, MediaMint will continue its strong track in serving its growing list of market-leading companies and clients. MediaMint’s leadership team, including Neelima Marupuru, Anush Kumar, Jason Riback and Aashay Paradkar, will continue to guide business growth. Aditya Vuchi, co-founder, will stay on for six months to ensure a smooth transition.

Tempus Legal is acting as legal advisor and EY as the exclusive financial advisor to Brightcom Group on this transaction. Sathguru Management Consultants acted as the sole transaction advisor to MediaMint.
