Cary, North Carolina –

We kicked off this auction news tour in South Carolina, with Angela Yarborough returning to the Rawls auto auction as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing.

She returned to join the company from Auto Auction in America, where she was the assistant general manager at its Houston location.

Yarborough started as a collegiate employee in 1989, and spent nearly three decades at Rawls, working in various departments and eventually becoming an assistant general manager. She joined ADESA in 2017, working in the Houston area national sales role and as a general manager.

“We are delighted to announce the return of Angela Yarborough to our team at Rolls Auto Auction,” Julian Rawls, General Manager of Rolls Auto Auctions, said in a press release. “Angela has worked in various positions at Rawls over many years and has played a pivotal role in our success.

“We are confident that Angela will contribute to our growth and believe her return to the company as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing cements our position as a recognized leader in the auto auction industry,” Rawls said.

Jamie Rawls, President and Owner of Auctions, added: “We are delighted to welcome Angela back to the Rolls Auto Auction. Angela has expanded her experience and industry contacts in her last positions. Its success on every level, including business development and customer relationship building, will be a huge strength for our company.”

Yarborough said: “It feels so good to be back home where I began my career many moons ago. I am delighted to be back working with the wonderful team at Rawls Auto Auction, the first car auction in the country.”

TAC teams with ParkMyFleet

Elsewhere, TAC Auction – the online digital equipment space specialist that offers heavy trucks, trailers and agricultural equipment – has partnered with ParkMyFleet to take advantage of the latter’s various services at its mobility hubs.

ParkMyFleet will provide regulation, inspection, diagnostics and refurbishment services at its mobility sites.

“This not only gives TAC the ability to reach new customers, it will also allow us to better serve the needs of our existing customer base,” said Mitch O’Neill, director of remarketing at TAC, in a press release.

ParkMyFleet CEO and Founder Mike Landau added: “We are delighted to partner with TAC Auction. We are uniquely positioned to provide meticulous services that ensure each of the company’s vehicles is managed, improved and maintained to the highest standards.”
